How to make it fly slow?

I built both of these back in the 70s, from memory they were both under £10.00 at that time and the quarter flat rubber supplied was no where near the quality of the rubber available today. Anything over about 150 turns and you were risking smashing the front of the fuselage beyond repair.

This is an excellent tutorial! What kind of times are possible with this year's rules in a ceiling height of 31 feet with beams at 27 feet? I think that's the national compititon's ceiling height. I'm really missing all of the input on Hip Pocket this year.

How do you find and get permission to fly on these places ....in Europe where i live,you could end up in yail or shot at by a very angry neighbour....(every model airplane is now categorised as a "drone" overhere and therefore considered as being extremely dangerous ),almost evrywhere nitro engines are outlawed (or in the proces of being...)
